This is position is ideal for an experienced Esthetician who likes to perform all type of skin care services and work with the team of Estheticians to grow the spa. Compensation structure includes a base pay plus commission for individual performance as well as teams performance. Ideal candidate should be committed and flexible.
As and Esthetician and Esthetics Supervisor, you’ll engage with our customers and staff and provide outstanding service and care that creates the foundation for an exceptional spa experience.
About the role: As a qualified/experienced Esthetician, you relish bringing skin health to people’s daily lives. Your primary goal is to have your customers leave Hand & Stone feeling relaxed, happy, and rejuvenated. You’ll greet our new and returning customers, consult with them on their desired treatment, and provide an excellent service that results in a smile they can’t wipe off their faces. Providing solutions will also play a key part in your role here, as you’ll suggest other add-ons services as you see fit. As our Esthetics Supervisor, you will oversee our team of Estheticians, managing their training and development, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales within the Esthetics department. You will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of service and promoting the growth and success of our Esthetics division.

Responsibilities
- Perform various Esthetics services as per H&S protocol and contribute towards the Skin Services revenue
- Manage a team of Estheticians, providing guidance, support, and coaching to maximize their performance and ensure exceptional customer service
- Develop and implement training programs for Estheticians, including product knowledge, treatment protocols, customer engagement, and sales techniques
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to Estheticians to foster their professional growth and development
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and treatment techniques, and ensure the team is informed and trained accordingly
- Collaborate with staff and Spa Manager to develop and implement promotions, campaigns, and initiatives to drive Esthetics business growth
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, as well as applicable regulations and licensing requirements
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction and resolution
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and a strong team spirit among Estheticians
- Prior experience working with Dermalogica products will be an asset
Qualifications
- Ontario Esthetics Diploma
- Previous experience in a training role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, staff, and corporate team
- In-depth knowledge of Esthetics treatments, skincare products, and industry trends
- Sales-driven mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets
